Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation. They apply to any rental agreement concluded with ECHAPPE CAR.
To rent a vehicle with ECHAPPE CAR, the main driver must be at least 22 years old and hold a valid driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. A valid ID (national ID card or passport) and driving licence will be requested when picking up the vehicle.
Renting a vehicle does not require a deposit for most of our vehicles. However, for certain vehicle categories, a deposit may be required before the final confirmation of the reservation. If applicable, it is paid in cash and its amount is communicated to the customer during the exchange preceding this confirmation, depending on the vehicle rented. This deposit is fully refunded at the end of the rental, except in the event of a claim related to damage found on the vehicle or a breach of these terms and conditions.
All our vehicles are rented with unlimited mileage, with no restriction or extra charge based on distance travelled during the rental period.
The vehicle is handed over with a given fuel level and must be returned with the same level. Otherwise, the missing fuel will be charged to the client, plus a refuelling fee.
Every booking is confirmed with a 20% deposit of the total rental amount. If cancelled more than one week before the pick-up date, this deposit is fully refunded. After this deadline, refund terms will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
No fee applies for returning the vehicle, provided the agreed time and location are respected.
Every rental includes full insurance coverage, covering theft, material damage, third-party liability, and windscreen breakage.
In accordance with our insurance provider's terms, a 5% deductible of the vehicle's value remains payable by the client in the event of an at-fault or unidentified claim. ECHAPPE CAR always informs the client of this deductible amount before departure.
The rented vehicle must be used for its normal purpose and in compliance with Moroccan traffic laws. Any improper, negligent or fraudulent use may result in the driver being held liable and the insurance coverage being voided.
These terms and conditions are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute regarding their interpretation or execution falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Marrakech courts.
